Have you ever wanted to grow your own mushrooms in your backyard? Discover how easy the process is with Husky Meadows Farm’s free mushroom inoculation workshop on Saturday, February 22.
Participate in a hands-on learning experience with shiitake, lion’s mane, and oyster mushrooms. Learn about the different strains, species, and varieties of cultivated gourmet mushrooms from our resident mushroom enthusiast and farmer, Rana Justice. We’ll discuss how to select your logs, what supplies you’ll need, and how to care for your mushrooms while we enjoy some light refreshments from our kitchen.
This is a free event open to the public, hosted in the Husky Meadows Farm kitchen barn basement. Coffee and chaga tea will be served alongside our kitchen staples: cream & currant scones and quiche.
