Nourishment for Body and Mind: A mindfulness farm stay

With the bucolic setting of our organic farm as the back drop, we’ll deepen into all our senses during this 5 day farm stay focusing on how the natural world inspires us to nourish ourselves. This weekend will be a blend of bustling activity and moments of quiet attention to our surroundings.

Throughout this farm stay explore the interconnectedness of mind and body through digging deep into the food that nourishes us, starting from the soil up. Hands-on farm explorations with Farmer Brett Ellis will introduce guests to the importance of soil health to nutrient density and flavor in our produce.  Kitchen sessions led by Culinary Director Tracy Hayhurst will focus on how using the freshest seasonal produce can be simple, enjoyable and delicious.

A highlight of this farm stay will be several mindfulness experiences with by Sandrine Harris, mindfulness facilitator and somatic practitioner. Sandrine offers an unfolding process during this farmstay, to awaken your senses and delight in the present moment. Forging deep connection with the natural world and exploring inner nourishment, she guides a walk in the gardens, forest bathing in the woodlands, and a flow of mindful practices to enrich your time at Husky Meadows.

*No experience with mindfulness or meditation is needed, with this informal and pleasure-filled process!

Guests will also have the opportunity to experience the farm beyond the garden, foraging and visiting our shiitake mushroom yard with Rana Justice, our team mycologist.

As always our farm stays are inclusive of all lodging, meals, beverages and programming throughout the weekend.
