As a chef and farmer, Husky Meadows new grower Brett Ellis brings the added understanding that all flavor and nutrient density in our food begins at the soil level. Join Brett for a lively discussion of the importance of soil health and sustainable farming that goes beyond organic certification. Brett will also share new plans at the farm this growing season and how you can get involved. Tracy Hayhurst, Culinary Director of Seed & Spoon will join the conversation to give a preview of this year’s educational programming at the farm. Brett and Tracy are excited to share their vision for Husky Meadows and Seed & Spoon to create a healthy, dynamic and vibrant culinary community rooted in sustainable farming practices.Â
